CHILDREN’S PRIVACY NOTICE

Applies to users under 13 years of age

Draft reviewed: August 31, 2026

1. Overview

FIT4TENNIS ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting the privacy of children. This Children’s Privacy Notice describes how we handle personal information collected from users under 13 years of age in compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act ("COPPA"), 15 U.S.C. §§ 6501–6506, and its implementing regulations, 16 C.F.R. Part 312.

This notice supplements our general Privacy Policy. If there is any conflict between this notice and our general Privacy Policy with respect to users under 13, this notice controls.

2. Parental Consent Required

New junior enrollment is currently closed. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent. Before any under-13 service is enabled, we require a parent or legal guardian to:

  • Review this Children’s Privacy Notice
  • Provide verifiable consent to the collection and use of their child’s personal information

If we discover that personal information has been collected from a child under 13 without verifiable parental consent, we will delete that information as quickly as possible. If you believe this has occurred, please contact us at privacy@fit4tennis.com.

3. Information We May Collect from Children

With verifiable parental consent, we may collect the following information from users under 13:

  • First name (for personalization and coaching)
  • Age or date of birth (to verify eligibility and customize programs)
  • Email address of the parent or guardian (not the child) for account and communications
  • Fitness and workout progress data entered by the child or parent
  • Video form-check and body-motion analysis are not enabled for under-13 accounts while the junior product and retention controls remain under review.
  • AI coaching chat is not enabled for under-13 accounts while the junior product remains closed.
  • Device and usage data collected automatically (device type, pages viewed, session duration)

We collect only the information reasonably necessary to provide the service. We do not collect more personal information from a child than is necessary to participate in our programs.

4. How We Use Children’s Information

We use personal information collected from children only to:

  • Provide and personalize the fitness and training service
  • Communicate with the parent or guardian about the child’s account
  • Respond to support requests from the parent or guardian
  • Ensure the safety and integrity of the platform
  • Comply with legal obligations

We do not use personal information collected from children under 13 for behavioral advertising, interest-based advertising, or to build profiles for advertising purposes.

5. Disclosure of Children’s Information

We do not sell personal information collected from children under 13. We may share this information only in limited circumstances:

  • Service providers: Third parties who assist us in operating the platform (such as hosting, analytics, and payment processing), under contractual obligations to protect personal information.
  • Legal requirements: When required by law or valid legal process.
  • Safety: When necessary to protect the safety of a child or the public.

6. Parental Rights

As the parent or legal guardian of a child under 13 with an account on our service, you have the right to:

  • Review the personal information we have collected from your child
  • Correct inaccurate personal information about your child
  • Request deletion of your child’s personal information
  • Revoke consent and refuse further collection or use of your child’s personal information
  • Opt out of any future collection of your child’s personal information

Please note: revoking consent or requesting deletion may mean your child can no longer use the service.

7. How to Exercise Parental Rights

To review, correct, or delete your child’s personal information, or to revoke your consent, please contact us using the information below. We will verify your identity as the parent or guardian before fulfilling any request.

Requests are queued for review. This draft does not promise a completion date or confirmation email; applicable legal obligations still apply.

8. Data Retention

We retain personal information collected from children under 13 only for as long as it is reasonably necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected, or as required by law. The final retention schedule and deletion deadlines require owner and legal approval before junior enrollment opens.

Video form-check, body-motion analysis, and AI coaching chat remain disabled for under-13 accounts while these controls are under review.

9. Security

We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical security measures to protect personal information collected from children. No online service can guarantee absolute security; however, we take the protection of children’s data seriously and apply additional care to this information.

10. Changes to This Notice

We may update this Children’s Privacy Notice from time to time. We will notify parents or guardians of material changes by email (sent to the address on file for the account) and by updating the date at the top of this notice. We will obtain fresh verifiable parental consent if we make changes that require it under COPPA.
